What regular cleaning includes
Regular cleaning covers floors, surfaces and everyday kitchen and bathroom tasks. Before the visit, tell us which rooms to include and where you would like us to focus.
- Clean floors and vacuum carpets; carpet extraction is a separate service.
- Clean countertops, furniture surfaces and appliance exteriors.
- Clean bathroom and kitchen wall surfaces, mirrors and glass; interior window glass is a separate request.
- Clean baseboards and the microwave interior.
- Tidy surface items, make beds and wash dishes.

How does the hourly rate become a visit price?One-time regular cleaning example: 2 cleaners working 1.5 hours each = 3 cleaner-hours. 3 × CA$39 = CA$117 before tax. This illustrates the calculation, not a fixed quote for a home size. Staffing, time and any extras are confirmed before booking.
Tasks to request separately
Regular cleaning handles everyday dirt and household upkeep. Built-up grease or hard-water residue may need deep cleaning. Please mention extra tasks when you request a quote so we can agree the scope before visiting.
- Oven, fridge and other appliance interiors beyond the microwave are separate requests.
- Cabinet interiors, tile grout, exhaust fans and interior window glass are listed as additional tasks for regular cleaning.
- Ask separately about range hood exterior cleaning, balcony tidying, closet organising or garage cleaning.
- Steam cleaning, bathroom mould cleaning and post-renovation dust or glue and paint residue are outside the regular scope.
- Sofa, mattress and carpet extraction cleaning are separate from general surface cleaning and vacuuming.
Before your cleaning visit
For an estimate, share your postal code, home size, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and preferred date. Let us know the current condition of your home so we can match the service to the work.
- Clear loose items from floors and counters so the surfaces are accessible.
- Point out delicate finishes and any rooms or belongings you want left untouched.
- For a condo, arrange entry and share concierge, elevator and parking instructions where relevant.
- List any extra tasks before booking and confirm the agreed scope.
Frequently asked questions
Should I book a regular clean or a deep clean?
If your home is kept fairly tidy and you'd like help with the kitchen, bathrooms, floors and dusting, regular cleaning is usually a good fit. If it's been a while since a thorough clean and there's noticeable grease, limescale or built-up dust, consider a deep clean. Not sure? Tell us what needs attention and we can help you choose.
What's included in regular cleaning?
Regular cleaning covers kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living spaces: wiping counters and accessible surfaces, cleaning sinks and toilets, vacuuming and mopping. Our current checklist also includes the microwave interior, baseboards and dishwashing. Please mention fridge, oven or cupboard interiors separately when booking.
Can you clean inside my fridge, oven and cupboards?
You can request these areas. Mention them separately for regular or deep cleaning; appliance and cupboard interiors are included in the move-in and move-out checklist. Let us know which ones need cleaning, and empty the relevant spaces of food and belongings beforehand.
Can you focus on just my kitchen and bathrooms?
Tell us your priorities and which rooms can be left out. We'll estimate for the work you need rather than assuming the whole home needs cleaning. The condition of those areas will also affect the time required.
Do I need to provide cleaning products, a mop or a vacuum?
Usually not. We'll bring the products and equipment needed for your chosen service, including a vacuum. If you'd prefer us to use a particular product you own, or a surface needs special care, please let us know beforehand.
Do I need to be home for the whole visit?
No. Arrange access in advance and leave a way to reach you on the day. If you're available for a quick walkthrough afterwards, it's a useful chance to point out anything that needs another look. Being away doesn't affect your cleaning satisfaction guarantee.
What if something hasn't been cleaned properly?
Please tell us. We'll re-clean or refund you, with no conditions, and you can contact us anytime. If it's convenient, describing the area or sharing a photo helps us understand what needs attention.
