Service information and an estimate should remain accessible without a customer account. Optional tracking is a separate choice.
Cookies and browser storage
Cookies are small records a website can ask your browser to keep. Websites can also use session or local storage. Their purpose matters: a record needed for a requested function is different from optional advertising measurement.
The rebuilt estimate experience
The estimate works without a customer login, shopping cart or payment card. Form choices can remain in memory while you use the page. Closing or reloading a page may clear an unfinished estimate. No optional analytics or advertising vendor is enabled merely because you start an estimate.
Analytics and advertising choices
If optional measurement is enabled for the published website, its purpose and choices should be explained before it is activated. Relevant consent can be changed or withdrawn. Consent to handling a callback request is not consent to behavioural advertising. This replaces the old statement that simply using the website means agreeing to all cookies.
Managing browser records
Use your browser’s settings to view, block or clear cookies and stored website data. Clearing stored data can remove preferences or an unfinished local session. Browser controls are separate from choices on an individual website. To ask how a particular feature uses storage, contact us.
