This is a service for individual fabric items or a stated set of items. The method depends on the material, care instructions and condition.
- Identify the carpets, upholstered sofas or mattresses to be cleaned.
- Assess the fabric and test cleaning solutions before treatment.
- Protect surrounding areas and vacuum loose debris before the main cleaning work.
- Treat the fabric with a suitable method, which may include spray extraction or foam scrubbing.
- Discuss care after cleaning and when the treated items can be used again.
How is this service quoted?Fabric cleaning is quoted by the items, sizes, materials, stains and access involved. Home-cleaning hourly rates do not apply to this service; drying and aftercare are discussed with your quote.

What carpet cleaning collects
Collected lint and extraction water from a cleaning visit. A process photo, not a before-and-after pair.
Scope is agreed for each visit. Results depend on the material and surface condition.
Stain treatment and drying
Stain removal is not guaranteed. Some marks may improve without disappearing. Fabric type, stain age and earlier cleaning attempts affect what treatment is appropriate.
- Describe old stains, pet accidents, odours and any products already applied.
- Do not assume every fabric is suitable for wet extraction; share care labels for review.
- General kitchen, bathroom and whole-home cleaning are outside this item-based fabric service.
- Carpet vacuuming in a regular or moving clean does not include fabric stain treatment or extraction.
- Drying time varies with the item and conditions; ask for aftercare advice for your booking.
What to send with your quote request
Request a quote with your postal code, item count, approximate sizes and a description of the stains. Photos of the item, mark and care label can make your request clearer.
- Clear loose objects from the carpet and around the furniture to be treated.
- Tell us whether a sofa or mattress can be accessed on the sides that need cleaning.
- Mention stairs, condo elevators, parking and entry arrangements relevant to equipment access.
- Plan to leave the cleaned items unused while they dry, following the advice given for the material.
Frequently asked questions
What do you need to quote for carpet or sofa cleaning?
Tell us the items, quantity, dimensions or number of seats, visible stains and any known materials. Photos and care labels help. We quote for the actual items rather than using a whole-home cleaning estimate.
Can old stains or pet urine stains always be removed?
Not always. The material, how long the stain has been there and products used previously all affect the result. Some marks improve without disappearing completely. Describe the stain when asking for a quote and include a photo if you have one, so we can assess it beforehand.
Can every fabric be steam-cleaned or wet-cleaned?
No. The material, construction and care label need to be checked for suitability for heat and moisture. Share any special care requirements beforehand; one method does not suit every fabric.
Should I move furniture or clear belongings first?
Put away personal belongings and leave access to the areas being cleaned where possible. Discuss any large or heavy furniture in advance; do not assume all furniture moving is included.
When can I use my carpet or sofa after cleaning?
Wait until the cleaned area is fully dry. The material, cleaning method, ventilation and humidity affect how long that takes, and we'll advise based on the actual conditions. Plan for drying time rather than using it immediately afterwards.
What if something hasn't been cleaned properly?
Please tell us. We'll re-clean or refund you, with no conditions, and you can contact us anytime. If it's convenient, describing the area or sharing a photo helps us understand what needs attention.
