- Choose a service date.
- Wait for our cleaning staff to arrive and provide the service.
- After the service is completed, settle the payment based on the actual cleaning time.
Will the cleaning staff slack off or spend too much time chatting instead of working?
This situation will absolutely never occur with Mint Cleaning Service staff because our cleaners undergo regular assessments and training. They are highly efficient in completing any cleaning tasks and will never slack off.
Besides cleaning services, what other types of services do you offer?

Do you charge transportation fees?
Our dispatch principle is to assign the nearest cleaner to you.
- If your location is within 25 kilometers of our cleaner, no transportation fee will be charged.
- If your location is 25-35 kilometers from our cleaner, a transportation fee of 10 CAD will be charged.
- If your location is 36-45 kilometers from our cleaner, a transportation fee of 15 CAD will be charged.
- If your location is more than 45 kilometers from our cleaner, a transportation fee of 20 CAD will be charged.
But rest assured, our pricing is 100% transparent. Any potential fees will be communicated to you in advance and clearly presented before the service begins.
What potential fees are there besides the cleaning service fees?

- Tips: You may voluntarily tip the cleaner; it is not a mandatory percentage fee.
- Parking fees: If your home does not have free parking, the cleaner’s parking fee will be provided with a receipt for your reimbursement.
- Fines: You will only need to pay for fines in one situation: if the cleaner parks in a location you designated and you informed the cleaner that parking there is free, but the cleaner receives a ticket, you will need to pay the full amount of the fine.
- Urgent fee: If there are no available slots on the cleaning date you need but you urgently require cleaning on that specific date, our dispatch team will prioritize your request. An urgent fee of 30 CAD will then be charged.

Is there a minimum booking time?
The minimum booking for cleaning services is 2 hours. If the service is less than 2 hours, it will be billed as 2 hours.
Am I charged the full quoted amount even if it doesn't take that long to clean my house?
No, the billing will be based on the actual cleaning time at your home. However, there is one special case: since our minimum booking is 2 hours, if the service is less than 2 hours, it will be billed as 2 hours.
The quoted time is too high/low. What do I do?
- The quoted time is an example of your cleaning which has lower rate and shorter duration. Special Requests are not included. The final cost will be based on the actual service hours (calculated to the minute). If you have any questions about the quote, please feel free to contact our customer service.
- Our cleaners will provide a more accurate time estimate when they arrive before starting the cleaning.
- Mint Cleaning strictly prohibits cleaners from slacking off. If found, they will be immediately dismissed. So you can trust us with your home.
How do I cancel my order? Will there be any additional charges for cancellation?
Please cancel your order at least 48 hours before the service start time to avoid disrupting the cleaner’s schedule. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

What is the difference between Regular Cleaning and Deep Cleaning?
For our regular cleaning, we use color-coded towels to keep wet and dry areas separate and prevent cross-contamination, ensuring everything stays hygienic. We bring up to 12 types of professional cleaning agents that are safe, eco-friendly, and gentle. Plus, our cleaning staff come equipped with their own vacuum cleaners.
Deep cleaning covers a broader and more thorough range than regular cleaning, including high-temp steam disinfection, heavy grease and limescale removal, range hood cleaning, steam cleaning window screens, and tackling tough adhesives and paint. It’s perfect for homes that haven’t been cleaned in a while or for moving in or out.

Will I get a discount if I schedule regular cleanings?
Yes, you can choose our weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly cleaning services, starting as low as 34 CAD per hour.
Do I have to be home for my cleaning?
- You don’t have to be at home;
- But we strongly recommend you are available to meet our cleaning team to conduct a walkthrough of your home at the end of the cleaning.
*Failure to complete the walkthrough & sign out will void our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.
Does my cleaner arrive at the exact time I book?
Most of the time, our cleaners will arrive within 10 minutes of the scheduled time; however, due to traffic conditions or other time factors, we cannot guarantee an arrival time.
What if I oversleep or miss the cleaning appointment time?
You can reschedule your appointment for free (one free rescheduling opportunity), otherwise, it will be considered a cancellation (see our cancellation policy for details).
Can you help dispose of the trash after cleaning is done?
- If you live in a condo, our cleaners will assist you in disposing of your trash at the condo’s waste disposal site free of charge.
- If you live in a house, we will help you sort the trash and place it in the appropriate location at no extra cost.
- If you need our cleaners to load the trash into their vehicles and take it away, there will be an additional charge. Please contact customer service for details.
Regarding fabric cleaning: Can animal feces, urine, and old stains be completely removed?
We excel in fabric and carpet cleaning. All stubborn stains can be thoroughly cleaned or lightened by 99%.
Can bird droppings on the balcony be cleaned?

Can you remove adhesive and paint residues?

Can you clean cabinets inside?
Yes, cleaning cabinets inside, drawers inside or cupboards inside is an extended service item of our cleaning service. There will be no extra charge, but it may require more time.
What is your closed door policy?
In order to protect your privacy, MINT CLEANING has a closed door policy; if the door to a room is closed, it will not be cleaned. Also, we will never open any drawers, cupboards or closets in your home unless specifically asked to clean them.

What payment methods do you accept?

What if I'm not happy with my cleaning? What after-sales service guarantee policies do you have?
- If you have any concerns about the cleaning results (e.g., insufficient cleaning), you can file a complaint with customer service within 48 hours after the service. Our customer service team will assist you promptly with after-sales support, and upon verification, we will provide free re-cleaning.
- If you believe the cleaner was inefficient or had a poor service attitude, you may be eligible for up to a 30% discount on the service fee upon verification.
- If you are unable to inspect the service on-site, you can raise any concerns about the service with customer service within 48 hours after the service. If no objections are raised within 48 hours, it will be considered as your satisfaction with the service.

If the driver receives a ticket, do I, as the customer, need to pay for it?

Firstly, we have completed over 20,000 cleaning orders in Toronto without any instances of property damage.
If there is property damage, upon verification, we will let you choose either 1. to go through our insurance process for compensation, or 2. to negotiate free cleaning services.
